Mei Yu Art Live: Draw Your Pet

A pet may be drawn from a submitted photo during certain Mei Yu Art Live livestreams in Mei Yu's original, semi-realistic style with some resemblance to the pet. You may choose to participate in a Mei Yu Art Live: Draw Your Pet event(s) as a participant under the following terms.

If you wish for a chance for your pet to be selected to be drawn for a Mei Yu Art Live livestream, you may choose to upload a photo of your pet to Instagram using the hashtag #meiyuart in your post. It is solely your responsibility to ensure your uploaded photo may consist of only one pet, and only that pet may appear in the uploaded photo. It solely your responsibility that your upload does not contain any personal, private, or sensitive information, including but not limited to: other people's faces, addresses, or identifying references to geographical locations. It is solely your responsibility to ensure you only upload one post to be considered to be selected to be drawn for a Mei Yu Art Live livestream. Uploading a post does not guarantee you being selected, and uploading multiple posts will not increase your chances of being selected. It is solely your responsibility that the pet photo you upload is your own original, unedited photo of your own pet, and that the photo does not belong to anyone else or was obtained from other sources, including but not limited to: online, through social media, apps, or A.I. It is solely your responsibility that you have the rights and permissions to upload this pet photo, and that the pet photo is a photo of your own real pet. If you wish to participate in a Mei Yu Art Live: Draw Your Pet event(s), you must abide by and agree to Instagram's relevant Privacy Policies and/or Terms of Services. It is solely your responsibility to ensure that the pet photo you upload complies with and follows Instagram's policies at the time you upload. Uploading a photo to Instagram is not mandatory to attend any Mei Yu Art Live livestream, and we reserve the right to decide whether or not a pet may be drawn during a particular Mei Yu Art Live livestream. We may take screenshot(s) of such uploaded pet photos on Instagram on our devices to aid us in the selection of a pet photo to be drawn for a Mei Yu Art Live livestream. We are not responsible to you or any third party for anything that may occur as a result should anything happen to our devices containing such screenshots, including but not limited to such devices being: compromised, stolen, hacked, and/or infected with potentially malicious software, including but not limited to: bugs, viruses, worms, spyware, and/or malware.

Should your pet photo be selected to be drawn in a Mei Yu Art Live livestream, we may mention the Instagram account that submitted the pet photo, and/or may show the Instagram account's handle, profile picture, pet photo, and/or post of the pet photo during the Mei Yu Art Live livestream, playback video(s) of the Mei Yu Art Live livestream, and/or other online, website, and/or social media posts, as they appear at the time we took the screenshot of the submitted pet photo on Instagram for the sole purpose of crediting the provider of the selected pet photo. We are not responsible to you or any third party for anything that may occur as a result of us showing the Instagram account and/or the Instagram account's handle, profile picture, pet photo, and/or post of the pet photo in such places. Please note that only one pet will be drawn in a Mei Yu Art Live livestream. Submitted photos containing more than one pet and/or does not comply with the other terms on this page may not be considered to be selected. We are not responsible to you or any third party for anything that may occur as a result of you uploading any photos. We are not responsible to you or any third party for anything that may occur as a result of your submitted photo appearing or not appearing during a Mei Yu Art Live livestream(s), playback video(s) of a Mei Yu Art Live livestream(s), and/or other online, website, and/or social media posts. We reserve the right and sole discretion to make any modifications to the appearance of the selected pet when drawing the pet as we see fit, including but not limited to: color, composition, level of detail, and/or artistic choices, so that it may appear in Mei Yu's original, semi-realistic style with some resemblance to the pet. We are not responsible to you or any third party for the final outcome of the drawing or how it is perceived by others.

Please note that we reserve the right to choose what pet will be drawn in a Mei Yu Art Live livestream. We are not responsible to you or any third party for anything that may occur as a result of us choosing or not choosing your photo. We hold the sole rights and copyrights to the drawing of the selected pet, and shall own the physical copy of the drawing of the selected pet. No physical copy of the drawing of the selected pet will be mailed to anyone. We are free to use the photo of your pet and, if you are selected, the drawing of your pet however and wherever we see fit, including but not limited to: on Mei Yu Art Live livestream(s), including possible future Mei Yu Art Live livestream(s), playback video(s) of Mei Yu Art Live livestream(s), online, website, and/or social media post(s) and/or video(s), and/or our website, without any compensation to you or any third party. We are not responsible to you or any third party for anything that may occur as a result of us using the photo of your pet or, if you are selected, drawing of your pet. After a livestream concludes, we may make the drawing of the selected pet publicly available as a digital, downloadable image on our website (no physical copy will be made available). You may download this image for your own personal, non-commercial use at home only. Such drawing(s) is not for commercial use or resale. Availability of these digital drawing(s) on our website, and/or platforms are subject to change without prior notice.
